Penultimate Saturday was a day of heavy downpour, but that did not deter the high profile guests drawn across different strata of the society, to glamourise the premiere of a new Nollyfund film ‘Tatu’ which held at the Eko Hotel Convention center, Victoria Island,
The epic movie stars Segun Arinze, Desmond Elliott, Toyin Aimakhu-Abraham, Gabriel Afolayan, Rahama Sadau, Sambaza Nzeribe, Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi, Hafiz Oyetoro (Saka), Frank Dunga and a host of others.
Scheduled for a September 15 cinema release date, the films is a collaboration of Bank of Industry and Patriarch Technologies in conjunction with FilmOne Production and FilmOne Distribution.
Group Head, Creative Industry Group at the Bank of Industry, Mrs. Cynthia Nwuka who spoke about the bank’s commitment to the development of Nollywood said ‘Tatu’ is the sixth in the series of films supported by her bank.
Recall that the bank had supported films such as ‘The CEO’ by Kunle Afolayan; ‘Ayamma’ by Emem Isong; ‘When Love Happens Again’ by Seyi Babatope; ‘Isoken’ by Jadesola Osiberu; and ‘Three Wise Men’ by Opa Williams.
