Cars45, Automedics partner on job creation in auto industry

Nigeria’s technology-driven auto start-up, Cars45, has partnered Africa’s top auto maintenance/repair and training facilitators, Automedics Limited, to boost job creation for auto technicians and engineers in the fast growing local used car sales and maintenance market.

Cars45’s innovative business model focuses on the used-car market and creates value by ensuring potential sellers get paid for their cars in less than an hour.

Speaking on the game-changing partnership, CEO of Cars45, Etop Ikpe, said: “We are very excited to kick-start this value proposition. As a Nigerian car user, it can sometimes be hard to get reliable experts in the auto industry and our overall goal is to expand the tech and automobile ecosystem, by ensuring that we have capable and certified hands to do any form of car valuation.

“We are confident that this partnership will help us have a verifiable database of used cars in Nigeria and further change the way locally-used cars are sold in the country.”

For the CEO of Automedics Ltd, M. Kunle Shonaike, “this is a mutually beneficial business collaboration that will add value to the locally used second-hand auto market.

“With this, an appointment is scheduled at any of Cars45’s 15 inspection centres spread across Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt..”
