IF you are an entrepreneur, you probably love what you do. That must have been why you started in the first place. But for a business to succeed, the boring paper work, the administrative support and the tax calculations need to be done by someone. Not many businesses can afford full time administrative support, and not every business owner can travel with an assistant. Founder of Prime Virtual Assitant, Mrs. Edoya David-Atiti, says an understanding of these circumstances led to the birth of her Start-up in 2016.

David-Atiti created an online platform which gives clients the opportunity to outsource tasks such as proofreading and creating documents, power point presentations, email management, feasibility study reports, internet-based research, on-the-field research, among others.

“I really desired to meet a need whilst doing something I enjoyed,” she told Hi-Tech Start-Ups in a recent interview. “At Prime VA, we provide virtual assistance for entrepreneurs, professionals and small businesses. We offer smart support for admin tasks so that clients can focus on their core revenue generating activities. The beauty of it all is that we work with you even when we are not physically at your workplace, and you get to pay for services that you really need per time.”

Although her organisation is canvassing uncharted territory in Nigeria’s tech-ecosystem, the founder of Prime VA is already full of success stories. “It was really scary when I first started up,” she said, “but I quickly realised that when your service meets a need, you will get patronage. If you are excellent at what you do, you would get even more patronage. It is  really fulfilling to see clients genuinely interested in the services we offer. It has been very fulfilling getting positive feedback from our clients. We are reliable and always work with the timeline agreed upon.”

Prime VA also has some packages for individuals and is offering to write a free ‘career cover letter’ for ten lucky winners. “Interested participants can follow and message @primevassistant on instagram, twitter or contact us on our website They should also state where they came across this information.”
