ABAKALIKI—AHEAD of Ebonyi State local government elections scheduled for April 22 this year, Caretaker Committee Chairman of Ivo Local Government Area of the state, Princess Francisca Okeke, yesterday, boasted that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will win the 13 Local Government Areas without any hitch.

The council boss, who stated this at Ivo headquarters, Isiaka, while taking over the affairs of the local government area, called on party faithful to massively vote for all PDP candidates across the state in the forthcoming elections.

She said: “I consider the coming elections most sensitive. It is time to demonstrate our love and unflinching loyalty to the party that produced our dear governor.

“It is time to queue behind all the candidates that may be produced by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. It is time to ensure that our great party has 100 per cent victory in the coming polls.

“As a proud member of PDP, I am practically glad that through the political sagacity and administrative ingenuity of our dear governor, the campaigns have been simplified and everybody elected as flag bearer under our great party is surely a marketable political commodity.  I say this because our governor has brought an unprecedented peace and tranquility to our local government area.”

According to the council boss, the PDP government in the state has demonstrated the political will towards providing democracy dividends to the people of the state.
