PDP chieftain, Urhobo leaders pass vote of confidence on Okowa

A chieftain  of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Chief Sunny Onuesoke and other Urhobo leaders have passed a vote of confidence on Delta State Governor,   Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, and further endorsing him as the sole governorship candidate in 2019.

Other leaders of Urhobo extraction who joined in the vote of confidence on Okowa, last week at Ugbarha-Otor, Ughelli North LGA, Delta State are Chief G.O.A Ojoba, Chief Orumah John, Chief Agbatutu   and 47 Urhobo political appointees.


Moving the confidence vote, Ojoba said Okowa had performed well, stressing that   like a winning  team, the governor should be allowed to run in 2019 to complete the good work he had started.

Also speaking, Onuesoke said that Delta people were quite impressed on the foundation of development the governor was laying and that this could not be completed in his first term of his office. He   maintained   that the governor had executed numerous projects across the state in fulfillment of     his SMART agenda,  and   commended   the Urhobo leaders and the people of Delta State for the confidence vote on Okowa,while still appealing for their continued support.
