Onu bags ‘Most performing Minister’ award

Ogbonnaya Onu, Minister of Science and Technology will be crowned ‘most performing minister’ in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, tomorrow in Abuja by Verbatim Magazine, “for exemplary performance and outstanding leadership, especially in his sustained campaign for turnaround of the Nigerian economy through manufacture and patronage of made in Nigeria products and services.”

The management of the Abuja-based Verbatim magazine said in a press statement signed by Tobs Agbaegbu, the Editor-in-Chief that the event will receive global media coverage, through a collaborative arrangement with VOX AFRICA, a UK-based Television program telecast on DSTV, GOTV and Skynews.

Agbaegbu announced that a number of other eminent Nigerians, including three Senators, the Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University in Keffi, motor manufacturing giant and Chairman of innoson Group, Chief innocent Chukwuma and Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, Chief of Staff, Government House in Owerri. Barrister Sunday ldoko, a business tycoon and Alhaji Usman Nga Kupi (Sa-Peyi) the traditional ruler of Garki town in Abuja, will also receive various awards at the ceremony.
