Chairman of Eagle Paints Nigeria Limited, Chief Taofik Akinola Disu, has been conferred the 2017 Accolade ‘African 21st Century Man of the Year’ award.
Briefing newsmen at the event in Lagos, Dr Luke Okojie, President/CEO of Accolade said: “The honour and awards are for the beacons and agents of hope, who through their zest and zeal for excellence” have contributed to the progress of Nigeria and indeed Africa.
Other recipients of its various awards include Trade Union Congress of Nigeria president,Dr Bobboi Kaigama, Ikeja council administrator, Engr. Taiwo Oluwaseyi, security expert, High Chief Ona Ekhomu, Director Project Management of Niger Delta Development Commission, Engr. Frederick Ogbeide, Prof. Jasper Jumbo, Prof. Johnbull Agemerien,a conflict management guru.
The yearly awards are packaged by Accolade Communications Limited, publisher of Accolades International Magazine, for deserving individuals in their various fields of endeavour.
