Commissioner urges parents to patronize quality education

By Tare Youdeowei

Delta State Commissioner for Education, Mr. Chiedu Ebie, has charged parents to ensure they give their children and wards quality education by sending them to schools that have adequate teaching facilities, and qualified teachers.

He made the call at a get together at Patricia Nursery and Primary School, Okpanam, Delta State, where he commended the proprietress, management and staff of the school for their dedication and assured that the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa-led administration was doing everything, irrespective of the current economic recession, to take education in the state to higher level.

In her address, the proprietress of the school, Mrs. Patricia Ogwuda, said that she established the school as part of her contribution to quality education in the state and Nigeria at large.
