“I am calling on the Christians to take advantage of the season, make it right with God as well as imbibe the lesson of Easter,” he said.
He also urged the Christians to be law abiding citizens by recognising constituted authorities.
In his speech, the Governor of the state, Alhaji Ibrahim Dankwambo, urged the Christians to be their brother’s keepers, according to biblical instruction.
The governor was represented at the occasion by Mr Hassan Ahmadu, Commissioner for Rural Development.
