There appears to be bail out for Small and Medium Scale Enterprise, SMEs, to scale up on their IT infrastructure , as a leading provider of industry specific Point of Sales (POS) and accounting management solutions in the country, Beta Computers Limited, has introduced a new program called POSACTSaaS. This programme enables SMEes, for a fixed monthly subscription, acquire a POS and accounting solution, run their operations.
The Managing Director of BETA, Mr. Will Anyaegbunam, in a press statement told technology journalists that with the current economic realities and its consequential cash and credit squeeze, most SMEs may be hard pressed to bear the one-off payment for the acquisition of POS and Accounting Solutions(POSACTS).
“This is despite the fact that they are aware of the immense benefits a POS and accounting solution will bring to businesses. Indeed, these challenging times require, as a necessity, not an option, the use of a POS and or Accounting solution to efficiently manage businesses for survival and growth,” he said.
With POSACTSaaS, he assured that SMEs will not have to worry about having the total amount required for the acquisition and maintenance of the POSACTs infrastructure.
According to him, “There will be no internet issues and bandwidth charges, as this is an on premise solution. All they expect and will get is 99.9% uptime and availability on the POSACTS solution that is specific to their industry, for a subscription as low as N10,000 per month. They then only have to concentrate on running their business with a much higher degree of success guaranteed”.
Anyaegbunam further added that with the programme covering both software and hardware, for virtually all industry sectors, including retail and distributive trade, supermarkets, pharmacies, hospitality, restaurants and bars, hotels, commercial and manufacturing companies, any significant hurdle that will keep SMEs from accessing POS and accounting solutions for the maximization of growth and profitability has been removed.
