The people of Delta North senatorial district have condemned the seizure of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi’s property, Guinea House, in Lagos by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on the order of a court.

Speaking under the aegis of Anioma Publishers Worldwide, the people’s spokesperson, Mr Ike Abiagom said: “The EFCC, should disregard the bogus misrepresentation of facts and figures by Sen. Nwaoboshi’s political enemies who are hell bent on distracting him. Guinea House in Lagos was sold to him through due process by the Delta State Government and they have never stated that the house was acquired.

“We, Anioma Publishers, are in support of President Muhammadu Buhari’s fight against corruption and we are proud of acting Chairman of EFCC, Mr Ibrahim Magu. However, we are appealing to the EFCC to disregard all negative information submitted against Sen. Nwaoboshi by his political detractors. We are solidly behind him because his performance at the National Assembly, has been commendable.”
