Vanguard lawyer honoured at school’s inter house sports

The 19th Annual Inter-house Sports / Athletics Competition of Mixed Secondary School, Onicha-Ukwuani held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the school premises in Onicha-Ukwuani, Ndokwa west local government area of Delta state.

The occasion also marked the investiture of House Patrons on prominent sons of the community, namely, Barrister Ozah Michael Ozah, Legal Services Manager, Vanguard; Engineer lsaac

Enebeli of K.C.A Drilling, Chief Sir Monday Onyeme, Executive Chairman, Board of Internal Revenue, Delta State, Dr. J. O. Oji of College of Education, Agbor and Hon. Ifeanyi Osakwe, Chairman, Ndokwa-west Local Govt., Delta State.

The school’s Principal, Mr. A. O. Okonye, described sports as not just for entertainment and improvement of the physical wellbeing but also for exposure, wealth and unity.

While calling on philanthropists to assist the school to surmount its infrastructural challenges, he lauded Chief Monday Onyeme for providing the school with a modern library building and lawn tennis court and Barrister Ozah for donating books to the school library and to the students.
