PORT HARCOURT— Rivers State governor, Mr Nyesom Wike, has called for a change in attitude on the part of the Police for the nation to consolidate its democratic gains, promising to immortalised a corps member, late Okonta Dumebi.

The governor gave the charge yesterday at Government House , Port Harcourt when the state Director of National Youth Service Corps, Omotayo Adewoye led management staff on a courtesy visit.
The governor, who promised to build a new state secretariat for the scheme, said it would be named after the late corps member, Okonta Dumebi, who was shot dead during the 2016 elections in Ahoada West Local Government Area of the state.
