Bayelsa govt to partner Legal Educ Council for NDU Law Faculty’s accreditation

Bayelsa State Government has restated its preparedness to collaborate with the Council for Legal Education to ensure the sustenance of the accreditation of the Faculty of Law, Niger Delta University.

Speaking on behalf of Governor Seriake Dickson during a courtesy visit by an Accreditation Team from the Council for Legal Education and a Management Team from the Niger Delta University, the Deputy Governor, Rear Admiral Gboribiogha Jonah (retd), said the state government took accreditation issues of professional courses in its tertiary institutions very seriously.

He added that the state government would deal seriously with the recommendations that would arise from the accreditation exercise of the Council for Legal Education to the Niger Delta University, with a view to meeting the required standards set by the regulatory bodies in the legal profession.

Earlier, Mr. Olarenwaju Onadeko, SAN, Chairman of the Accreditation Team of the Council for Legal Education to the Niger Delta University, who is also the Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, said the team was visiting NDU to conduct a routine accreditation exercise.
