Ahead of Wednesday’s Charity Cup, Super Eagles goalie and shot-stopper of FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, has vowed that defeating Enugu Rangers International is the priority of the Nnewi-club side, popularly called Anambra Warriors.
The match is billed to hold today, by 4pm, at the Abuja National Stadium.
The Charity Cup is played between the winners of Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL, and winners of the Federations Cup.
While Rangers International are the current champions of the NPFL, FC Ifeanyi Ubah are the current champions of the Federations Cup.
Speaking after a brief workout at the Abuja National Stadium, Ezenwa, affirmed that the match is going to be a friendly game, recalling the superb performance of the of FC Ifeanyi Ubah during the NPFL Super 4 encounter with Enugu Rangers International.
The goalie further expressed confidence that FC Ifeanyi Ubah will come out victorious against Rangers.
He said: “We have prepared very well, and we have the support of our Proprietor, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, the Chairman, the entire Management of the club and Supporters club as well, and winning this game is our priority.”
