The Chief Accounting Officer at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, Mr. Reuben Adeleye has emerged the new President of the LUTH and College of Medicine, University of Lagos Co-operative multipurpose society for the year 2016 to 2018.
Among the other elected members are Mr. Taiwo Adewole (Vice-President), Mr. Yomi Adeniyi (General Secretary), Mr. Robert Ojaloma (Treasurer) and Mr. Otusanya Gbenga (Financial secretary).
Adeleye who was the formal Acting President of the co-operative was elected alongside other executive during the Association’s 51th Annual General Meeting held at the New Great Hall of the Institution.
The new President described LUTH/ CMUL Co-operative as “a society involved in making life worthwhile for its members by filling the gap in their domestic lives among others. The essence of establishing a co-operative society is to make life easier for co-operators by assisting them to acquire some items that would ordinarily be out of their reach and we promise to continue pursuing this mission.”
He however urged for more support among members and thanks the LUTH/ CMUL management for their collaboration.
