A private university, in Imota, Ikorodu – Caleb University – yesterday, signed an agreement with the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, CIBN, towards producing a blend of academic and professional graduates.

Speaking at the CIBN Official Ceremony of the Execution of Linkage Agreement with Caleb University, Vice Chancellor, Caleb University, Prof. Ayandiji Aina, said that the institution is building a cutting edge in commerce and environment.

Explaining some of the benefit of the agreement, he said; “This makes our graduates to be qualified as chartered bankers so that the idea of people graduating and not being able to fit into industry should not be our lot at Caleb University.

‘’We intend leading in commerce and environment, especially as Lagos is centre of commerce in Nigeria.

“This is just our token to stamp our leadership in that regard. The student can come out with their degree programme at the Msc, MBA and Diploma in Financial Journalism and add the ACIB that makes them bankers from graduation and they can fit into the industry,” he said.
