Police nab 3 robbers in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested three robbery suspects for allegedly dispossessing victims off their valuables at Man City Bus Stop, in Ago-Okota area of Lagos.

The suspects,  Emeka  lkemefuna, Kingsley  Okechukwu and  Joseph  Victor, were allegedly arrested with a locally-made pistol, four live cartridges and one motorcycle.

They were arrested by policemen attached to Ago-Okota Police Station after a distress call was made to the police about their criminal activities.

According to a police source attached to the Command headquarters, in Ikeja, a resident of the area (names withheld) reported to the police that his valuables were snatched at gunpoint by three men on motorcycle.

Following the information, police operatives trailed the suspects and got them arrested.

While commenting on the incident, the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Police Dolapo Badmus, said the three arrested robbery suspects would soon be transferred to the state Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Ikeja, for further investigation.
