GALA from the stable of United Africa company, UAC Foods, has introduced a new innovation in the sausage roll market, christened Gala mega.
The sausage roll which is twice the size of the normal sausage roll sells for twice the price of the former, the company said during a press briefing to introduce the new addition to its snacks family.
Speaking, General Manager Marketing of the company, Mrs. Joan Ihekwaba, in Lagos, said, the brand is a new addition to the rich basket of snacks offering from the company to assuage yearnings of consumers.
According to her, Gala mega is a direct response to the yearnings and desires of Gala consumers for a more filling snack to keep them going as they achieve their daily goals. “Some consumers have been found to eat multiple sausage rolls, just to get filled up. With Gala mega, consumers can easily fill up on a friendly budget.” She said.
Ihekwaba went further to say that the superior value offering of Gala sausage roll has been replicated in the Gala mega sausage roll.
