Emulate Clinton, Okereke-Onyuike urges Nigerian women

Lagos—A FORMER Director-General of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, NSE, Professor Ndi Okereke-Onyiuke has called on Nigerian women to see the progress being made by the presidential candidate of Democratic Party in the United States of America in the race to the White House as a springboard for surmounting societal barriers against women in Nigeria.

She also urged professionals to ensure the application of appropriate instincts and emotions in their duties in order to make Nigeria a better place.

Okereke-Onyiuke said this in Lagos when she was honoured by the Professional Excellence Foundation of Nigeria, PEFON, with an award of excellence.

Other top class Nigerian women honoured include Justice Folake Solanke, SAN, Professor Grace Alele-Williams, Omoba Priscilla Kuye SAN, Chief Yoyin Olakunri, Chief Onikepo Akande, Chief Bolaji Kuforiji-Olubi,Chief Margaret Adeleke,  Mrs. Caroline Okpaise and Mrs.  Olubukunola Ejiwunmi.
