WARRI—AFTER six days of incarceration, Madam Amrevweatefa Odada, the septuagenarian arrested with three others over the alleged involvement of her son in militancy, was released by men of Operation Crocodile Smile.
Meanwhile, Vincent Ekeke and Henry Koko, extended family members in their 20s, arrested with the septuagenarian at 3a.m. on August 31 in their family compound at Akperhe Olomu, Ughelli South LGA, remained detained by the Military Police at the 3 Battalion, Effurun Barracks of the Nigerian Army, Uvwie Local Government Area of the state, alongside Rachael, the preg-nant wife of Gabriel Ogbudje, the Army’s primary target.
Oyibo Ogbudje, daughter of Madam Odada, told Vanguard that authorities at the 3 Battalion, said that they released her mother on Sunday on health ground, adding that “she was at the verge of breaking down in their custody. She has been taken to a hospital.”
