Senate c’ttees: Osun APC council chairmen accuse Saraki of vendetta

By Gbenga Olanrinoye

Osogbo—Chairmen of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ife-Central and Ife-East Local Government of Osun State, Mr. Adeleke Enitilo and Mr Kayode Ogundele have berated Senate President Bukola Saraki on the recent reshuffle of the Senate committees leadership.

Enitilo and Ogundele condemned what they described as deliberate humiliation of Senator Babajide Omoworare, who was removed as the Chairman of Senate Committee on Rules and Business and made chairman of Legislative Compliance Committee.

The APC chairmen in a jointly signed statement, weekend, said that Omoworare who is representing Ife/Ijesa Senatorial District has been a good representative of his people.

According to the APC leaders, Legislative Compliance Committee did not exist in the senate, alleging that Saraki was fighting Omoworare because of his loyalty to the APC and the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
