Ogun PDP wants judge’s role in party crisis probed

Abeokuta—The Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has asked the Federal Government  to probe the role of Justice Mobolaji Ojo in the crisis rocking the party.

The request was contained in a petition delivered to the Presidency at the weekend and signed by its secretary, Alhaji Semiu Sodipo.

Sodipo, in the petition addressed to President Muhammadu Buhari, said: “I write this petition seeking Your Excellency’s urgent intervention and prompt investigation into the conduct of Hon. Justice Mobolaji A. Ojo who sits at Court 4 in the Abeokuta Division of the High Court of Ogun State with the authority of Chief Adebayo Dayo, the State Chairman of the Ogun State Chapter of the PDP and on behalf of the entire State Executive of the Ogun State Chapter of the party.”

He said the probe would deepen the president’s battle against “the scourge of corruption and getting rid of it in the nation’s body politic.”
