Osinbajo to speak at Horasis Global Meeting

The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is expected to address the world at the inaugural Horasis Global Meeting and 2nd international festival for Business to be coordinated by Stratex Pro in Liverpool, United Kingdom between the June 13th to 15th, 2016.

Osinbajo-HorasisThe Vice President will equally engage in plenary sessions and bilateral meetings in the course of his visit to the country. The event is a part of a three week long event series of the International Festival for Business hosted by the UK Government.

It is aimed at advancing solutions to the most critical challenges facing corporations and governments as participants would share a common interest in mapping out global economies.

 The Horasis event, which is the foremost annual gathering of business leaders from emerging markets and their global counterparts, brings together highly influential groups of business leaders to discuss collaborative approaches to addressing sustainable growth.

 Nigeria is the only country to be showcased at the Horasis Global Meeting under the theme “Global Nigeria” initiated by Stratex Pro founder and Horasis Africa chief executive officer, Dr Noel Akpata at the 2015 Global China Business Meeting in Portugal, after final approval from Horasis and the board of the International Festival for Business.

 Nigeria’s participation is under the approval of the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Chaired by Nigeria’s former Minister of National planning and Chairman Susman and Associates, Dr Shamsudeen Usman. Stratex Pro in collaboration with Susman and Associates will be leading the Nigeria delegation to this event which will include selected ministers and state governors.

 Dr Noel Akpata, will also Chair a high level panel on “Fighting Poverty” at the meeting and officially unveil a Business-to-Business (B2B) online trading platform for the globalization of Nigeria’s productive business clusters.
