UGHELLI—THE Vicar in charge of St Luke’s Anglican Church, Ofuoma-Ughelli, Delta State, Revd. Canon Godwin Ujevwecha, yesterday, urged the Federal Government to jettison the proposed Grazing Reserve bill before the National Assembly in the interest of peaceful coexistence of all parts of the country.
Ujevwecha, who gave the advice in his sermon during the thanksgiving service in honour of Chief Isaac Akpoveta on his appointment as Chairman, Governing Council of Delta State Contributory Health Commission, said herdsmen were into their private businesses and wondered why poultry and fish farmers are not being given such consideration in a country where the people have equal rights.
In his brief remarks, Chief Akpoveta thanked God, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the people of the state for giving him the opportunity to serve as Chairman Governing Council of Delta State Contributory Health Commission.
