ABUJA—FORMER Governor of Edo State, Senator Oserheimen Osunbor, has said that he will continue with the achievements of Governor Adams Oshiomhole if elected as governor.
He also promised to re-introduce the bursary scheme which he initiated in 2007 for Edo State students in tertiary institutions.
Osunbor, while formally picking up his expression of interest and nomination forms to contest the forthcoming Edo governorship election in the state on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, noted that with his wealth of experience and his track record as former governor of the state, he was the right man for the job.
He said if given the mandate, he will consolidate on the gains of the current governor, Adams Oshiomhole.
He said: “My vision for the state, first of all I need you to know that I’m not a stranger to the office of governor of Edo because I was there before from 2007 to 2008 and during that very brief period in less than one and half years, I recorded a great deal of achievements in various spheres of development in the state.”
