Pastor David Popoola, the Kogi Pastor of Living Faith Church, Lokoja, on Sunday, said that the glory and dignity of Nigeria would soon be restored.
He made the declaration in Lokoja during his Sunday Church sermon entitled “Gateways To Financial Dominion.”
Popoola said “the lost glory and virtues of the country would soon return and Nigerians shall be saved.
He added that “the glory of massive agricultural production of cocoa in the west, groundnut pyramids in the north and palm oil in the eastern part of the country shall return again.
“The dignity and honour that God has created this nation for will soon rise again and all its challenges shall be surmounted.
“I speak as a Prophet of the Most High God that this country will soon become the envy of other nations of the world.”
Quoting from Deut. 8, verse 18 in the Holy Bible, he said “but you shall remember the Lord your God: for it is He that gives you power to get wealth.
“God is concerned about the wellbeing of the people of this nation; it is His will that we enjoy supernatural abundance.
“We must pray and support our leaders with a view to building a great nation of our dream that is devoid of corruption and lawlessness.
“No one has the sole capacity and ability to solve all the problems of this country; it is our collective and civic responsibility to work for the growth of our nation.”
The cleric, therefore, urged Nigerians to move from the realm of looking for governments’ job into being employers of labour.
Popoola, who marked his 48th birthday on Sunday, further admonished Christian leaders and their followers to emulate Jesus Christ in all their deeds.
The cleric had on Saturday visited some orphanages to celebrate his birthday with the indigent.
He had also donated food items, clothing materials and other essential commodities to the orphanages .
