“Convincingly, I know the Governor’s decision to relieve me of my position was not as a result of failure, incompetence, mediocrity or negligence of duty on m part, but it was a sound desire to give another Imolite the privilege to contribute his or her quota aimed at developing our dear state, the Eastern Heartland. God has plans of future elevations in my life, through which I can continue to touch the lives of the good people of Imo State positively in many ways.”

While saying that his greatest joy had been to serve Imo people to the best of his ability, Ejiogu also commended the Governor Rochas Okorocha for giving him “the priceless opportunity” to showcase his experience and expertise.

He commended the citizenry, who he said not only had faith in him over the years, but had also supported him in so many ways, including prayers for his success.
