ONITSHA—The Ogirishi of Igbo land and member of Board of Trustees, BoT of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka has advised former Governor  Peter Obi tof Anambra state to steer clear of the forthcoming Anambra Central Senatorial re-run election and wait for another dispensation.

He said it would be the greatest mistake of the century for Obi to play a spoiler for APGA, his alma mater by contesting under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the greatest opposition party, even when he was not originally in the list of contenders for the senatorial seat.

Speaking to newsmen at the palace of Igwe Peter Ezenwa, the traditional ruler of Oba community in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, during his 39th Ofala cultural festival, 40th year on the throne and 90th birthday celebrations, Ezeonwuka noted that Obi’s attempt to join the race at this stage is ill timed and a clear indication that he wants to do the right thing at a wrong time.
