ABUJA — The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, yesterday, sealed off the Hebron Plaza in Gudu district of the Federal Capital Territory which is suspected to belong to former Director of Budget of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Vice Marshal J. B. Adigun, who has been in the custody of the anti corruption body for about two weeks.
Operatives of the commission came to the plaza yesterday afternoon and wrote on all sides of the building, ‘EFCC! KEEP OFF.’
The officers, who came in two truck loads of heavily armed security operatives, went into the office which is on the second floor of plaza.
According to a source at the EFCC, who does not want to be named, the decision to search the private office of the Air Force officer followed statements he made to EFCC operatives investigating the matter.
“Our operatives took away some documents from his private office which we think would be useful to our investigations,” the source said.
