We will give our fans the best this season, says Heartland Captain

The Captain of Heartland FC of Owerri, Chinedu Efugh, on Tuesday assured fans of the club that it would return to its winning ways in the 2015/2016 Glo Premier League Championship.
Efugh said this in an interview with newsmen in Lagos. The club finished in the seventh position on the league’s log with 56 points from 38 matches played in the last season.
The captain of the club added that training would begin Jan. 5, 2016, adding that the team will ensure that they leave no stone unturned.
“We will resume training in January and we intend to return to our winning ways with the support of our fans and management; our dedication is a hundred per cent.
“Coming seventh last season was not what we wanted but we are forging ahead and we hope to make our fans proud of us by God’s grace,’’ Efugh added.
