By Tom Moses & Chioma Onuegbu

UYO—Akwa Ibom State governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel,  has reiterated his commitment to actualising his vision of industrialising and generating wealth for the state.

He expressed confidence in the members of his cabinet to help him achieve the vision of his administration as, according to him, they were painstakingly selected, including those appointed into technical committees, to drive these projects.

Speaking at the sixth anniversary convention of Word of Faith Covenant Assembly, Uyo, Governor Emmanuel said his team, which comprises men of proven integrity with requisite skills and international  connections, was carefully selected to bring their wealth of experience to bear on the administration as well as attract investors to the state.

He, therefore, condemned the spate of unsubstantiated criticisms and  blackmail by those he said have sworn to see nothing good in others except themselves and advised them to refrain from such act and respect constituted authorities as demanded by God.

Congratulating the  General Overseer of the church, Pastor Linus on the sixth anniversary, Governor  Emmanuel  commended him for nurturing  the  church from cradle to its  sixth  year of  existence and attributed the feat to God’s benevolence and spiritual guidance.

In his testimony,  the  General Overseer,  Pastor  Linus,  said the  church which was  established on November 15, 2009, has witnessed tremendous growth through financial breakthroughs and divine healings.
