Jose Mourinho makes three changes to the side which started against Liverpool on Saturday.
Baba Rahman comes in at left-back, allowing Cesar Azpilicueta to move to right-back, while Kurt Zouma moves into the centre of defence alongside John Terry.
Nemanja Matic is restored to the starting line-up at the expense of John Mikel Obi, and is expected to play alongside Ramires, who makes his 200th start for the club.
Cesc Fabregas, a second-half substitute on Saturday, starts, with Eden Hazard dropping down to the bench. Gary Cahill, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Loic Remy are also among the substitutes.
