The response of the South-East traditional rulers to the paid advertorial in one of the national dailies and signed by APC Chairman in Imo State Dr. Hilary Eke that His Royal Highness Eze Cletus Ilomuanya, the South East Traditional Rulers Council Chairman, have been dethroned and replaced by HRH E.S. Ohiri was the reason for a meeting in Enugu.
After the meeting, they came up with a communiqué that HRH Eze Cletus Ilomuanya should stop parading himself as their Chairman.
Reacting to this development HRH Eze Cletus Ilomuanya instituted a matter at Enugu High Court presided by his Lordship Justice Innocent Umezulike, the state Chief Judge.
When the matter came up recently, the counsel to the South-East Traditional Rulers Mr. Anthony Ani informed the court that the two parties had decided to settle the matter out of court, to which the presiding judge agreed and adjourned the matter to December.
The court witnessed a huge crowd amongst who were Royal fathers who had come from the South-East states in solidarity with their new chairman H.R.H. E.S. Ohiri.
