Going viral on the Nigerian blogosphere is the story of a Nigerian American, who was one of the nurses who treated a comatose Bobbi Kristina Brown in the last month of her life.
Apparently, Sobamowo used the identity number of an actual nurse with a similar name in order to get a job at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia, where Brown died in July.
Arresting papers list her as the person in charge for Brown’s care but have not said whether Brown’s livelihood was impacted by Sobamowo’s lack of training.
The Maryland board began investigating in January 2014 after the District of Columbia Board of Nursing issued a warning that Sobamowo had impersonated a nurse to work at a hospice facility in Washington.
Bobbi-Christina Brown, the 22-year-old daughter of singers Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, died July 26 at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia.
