My local boys ‘ll stop your galaxy of pros – Swazi coach

Swaziland national team coach Harris Bulunga believes his ‘amateur’ team can upstage Nigeria in today’s 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifier in Port Harcourt.

Also  a fan has promised the team a goat if they return home unscathed from the match, which the Eagles are under pressure to win.

The southern Africans held Sunday Oliseh’s men to a 0-0 draw in Lobamba on Friday and must get a win or a scored draw to progress to the next stage of the qualifiers to Russia.Mulungu

Bulunga identifies the trio of Obafemi Martins, Ahmed Musa and Odion Ighalo as a major threat to his side’s ambition but insists emphasis will not be on the trio but the whole team.

“Obviously, Nigeria will come out hard on us and the Eagles will want to impress in front of their home fans. But we’ll be patient to play our game. Everybody knows that we are not professionals, but we’ll play good game,” said Bulunga.

“We’ll also be mindful of the threats posed by Musa and Ighalo who are dangerous players and more importantly, Martins who plays in America, he is a deadly player in front of goal. We always watched him how he scored goals for his MLS club.

“The plan is not to stop these players individually, but we plan to stop the whole team, “ Bulunga said.

“There are no more minnows in football again. We’ll go all out to score in this match, unlike what happened in the first leg. We need to score this time around. We’ll be adventurous because we’ve surprise in stock for the Super Eagles, “ he concluded.

Nigeria have managed to score just three goals in their last four matches, a weak form they will want to mend at the Adokiye Amesiamaka Stadium today.

Swaziland gets goat promise to beat Eagles

Also  a fan has promised the team a goat if they return home unscathed from the match, which the Eagles are under pressure to win.

“The boys surprised us. A lot of people had written them off saying they stood no chance against Nigeria but they proved them otherwise.

I was very impressed by Sihlangu and if it happens that they play well in Nigeria, I will talk with my family and do something by presenting a goat to the team as promised,” said Jonase Vilane an official of Madlenya Football Club
