A former PDP governorship candidate in Lagos State, Mr  Jimi Agbaje, and  ex- Super Eagles goalkeeper, Peter Rufai, are among dignitaries to be honoured by a  non-governmental organization, Symbol of Hope Foundation, at its annual leadership conference and humanitarian service award dinner.

Others to be honoured include Nollywood star, Kanayo O. Kanayo; Pastor Wale Adefarasin; Eze Nweke Ekwuruke; Barr. Chris Nwaokobia; Buchi Atuonwu; Eze Ndigbo Ghana; Eze Chukwudi Ihenetu  and Chief Azubuike Ekerekwu.

National Coordinator of the NGO, Dr. Victor Chibueze, who described the Symbol of Hope Foundation as a non-profit organization involved in reaching out to the less privileged through various life saving humanitarian projects, scholarship for indigent students and empowerment for youths and women through vocational training, said, in Aba, Abia State, that dignitaries are being honoured for the various contributions to the welfare of the less privileged of the society.
