Alleged TSA fraud: Ex-Speaker urges Fayose to exercise restraint

Fayose and Buhari

Gov’s stance, a ploy to conceal fraud —APC

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, was yesterday advised to forward evidence of alleged diversion of N25 billion from the Treasury Single Account by President Muhammadu Buhari to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, rather than engaging in frivolous criticisms.

This was just as the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State described Governor Fayose’s stance against the TSA as a deliberate ploy to conceal fraud.

Ex-Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Femi Bamisile, who expressed disappointment that only Governor Fayose, among the 36 governors, had consistently attacked the TSA,  urged the governor to learn how to exercise restraint.

Fayose, on his part, on Sunday, described the TSA as a fraud meant to deceive Nigerians, saying he would boycott any meeting called by the Federal government to deliberate on the issue.
