Shun corruption, religious bigotry, gov counsels Youth Corps members

ABAKALIKI—GOVERNOR Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, Thursday, charged the 2014 batch ‘C’ of National Youth Service Scheme, NYSC, members deployed to the state to shun negative tendencies including indiscipline, corruption, bribery, nepotism  and religious bigotry, which had over the years brought bad image to the nation.

Umahi admonished them to be prepared to surmount emerging challenges in order to contribute their quota towards rebuilding the ideal and better Nigeria for generations to come.

The governor, who was represented by the Speaker, Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Francis Nwifuru, during the  passing- out parade ceremony of the 2014 batch ‘C’ Corps members at the Abakaliki township stadium, assured that his administration would continue to hold NYSC, in high esteem.
