Victor Agali, former Nigeria’s National team player, has observed that many youths in Ekiti State had the potentials of becoming future stars if they so wished.
Agali told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday that the state had the facilities required to develop budding talents.
“While I was a young boy, I had been trying my best to play football, creating interest and passion for it.
“With the good atmosphere in the state-owned stadium in Ado-Ekiti, and a good field, youth can develop their skills if they choose to become a professional footballer like me,” he said.
NAN reports that Agali was in Ekiti, along with other ex-internationals that made up All Stars FC of Lagos, to play a friendly match with their Ekiti counterparts.
The encounter, organized to mark the one year anniversary of Gov. Ayo Fayose in office, saw the Lagos team triumphing over the host side, Ekiti All Stars, 2-0
