President Muhammadu Buhari has departed Nigeria for New York, United States of America, where he will address the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. Buhari departed the country, shortly after the Eid el-Kabir celebration in his ancestral home, in Daura, Katsina State.

According to the Presidential spokesman, Mr. Femi Adesina, Buhari who is expected to deliver Nigeria’s Statement to the UN General Assembly on Monday, September 28, will return on Tuesday, September 29.
