First 100 days in office: Okowa, a brother to all — TIDI

ASABA—Special Assistant on News Media to Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Mr. Michael Tidi,  has described the first 100 days in office of the governor as “full of achievements, showcasing a paradigm shift in governance that demonstrates His Excellency’s sterling pan-Deltan credentials and detribalized approach.”


In a statement made available to newsmen, yesterday, in Asaba, Tidi asserted that “within this remarkably short period, Governor Okowa has successfully exemplified his leadership role as a brother to all great people of Delta, who gave him their votes across the various senatorial districts and local government areas of the state.”

While celebrating Okowa’s achievements which he listed as: Prudence, transparency and accountability in managing the lean finances of the state, Tidi said other milestones of the Okowa administration include, economic empowerment through entrepreneurship, constructive engagement of youths and women for economic empowerment, institution of a social security direction for the most vulnerable in the society, among others.
