The Ghanaian comes in at left-back with Cesar Azpilicueta moving to the right. Gary Cahill is back in the centre alongside Kurt Zouma and will captain the side.
Jose Mourinho has rung the changes significantly with six changes from the starting eleven that slumped to another defeat at the weekend. Out go John Terry, Branislav Ivanović, Nemanja Matić, Diego Costa, Pedro Rodríguez and John Obi Mikel. Among the replacements are Abdul Rahman Baba for his debut and teenage midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Pedro is missing with a minor muscle injury so Willian plays, as does Loic Remy for the first time since the Community Shield. The Frenchman is up front. Eden Hazard makes up the 11.
Maccabi name the same eleven who completed their play-off victory over Basel with Eran Zahavi, who has ten goals to his name already this season looking to exploit Chelsea’s defensive frailties.
