APGA raises alarm over manipulations of rescheduled Assembly results in Bayelsa

THE leadership of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Bayelsa State yesterday raised an alarm over alleged attempts by some officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Peoples Democratic Party ,PDP, to thumb print and falsify  the cancelled results of some units of Ewoama Ward of Brass Constituency II of Brass Local Government area of the state.

APGA said though the people of Brass Constituency II are still angered by the upturning of the outcome of the rescheduled state House of Assembly election which its candidate, Alfred Belemote Watson emerged winner, the alleged manipulation of the cancelled results within the state Government House is a crime against the people of the state.

The Chairman of APGA in Brass Constituency II, Faso Ezekie, said investigations conducted by the party showed that results from some units in Ewoama Ward, cancelled by the returning officer during the rescheduled Assembly election due to hijack and manipulation, is being allegedly doctored and expected to be used to declare the PDP candidate winner.
