The Ogun East senatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC , Prince Dapo Abiodun, has dragged Prince Buruji Kashamu of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP before the election tribunal sitting in Abeokuta, urging the court to hold that Kashamu did not win the election.

Abiodun, through his counsel, Alhaji Yusuf Ali, SAN, is contending in his petition, that the March 28, 2015 National Assembly poll that produced Kashamu was rigged.

He is further alleging that the PDP senatorial candidate induced voters with cash even before the voting started, adding that during collation of results, there were clear indication of manipulations in some areas.

He is also contending that that the number of those who voted in some polling units, exceeded the number of accredited electorate, adding that the election results on Forms EC8A, EC8B and EC8Cs did not correspond in many polling units identified in four local governments viz: Ijebu North, Sagamu, Remo North and Ikenne.

He notes that election did not take place in wards 5 and 7 in Sagamu and another ward in Ogun Waterside Local governments , as voters who turned out to cast their votes did not present their Permanent Voter’s Cards.
