LAGOS—Following the successes of the last two summits in London, the Asset Summit Africa 2015 will be held for the first time in Africa at the Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on March 31 and April 1.

Expected to bring together about6 150 senior managers and decision makers from oil and gas, real estate and facilities, government, banking, manufacturing and utilities, the event is meant to promote effective asset management and maintenance culture in developing nations.

With the theme: “Reduce Costs, Improve Safety & Increase Profitability through Effective Asset Management & Maintenance,” the summit is being organised by the Nigeria High Commission, London, the UK Trade and Investment and AMFacilities.

The Principal Consultant of the organising company, Codub Group UK, said: ‘’Productivity growth—and thus increasing competitiveness—is higher in countries with an adequate supply of infrastructure services.”
