WARRI—THE people of Agbarho, in Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State, have asked a Federal High Court sitting in Warri to set aside its judgment, which forced them out of Ughelli North Constituency II into neighbouring Ughelli South constituency 1 of the state Assembly.

In its judgment on October 31, 2014 in a suit by Chief Godwin Sito and five others against the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Justice Shittu Abubakar, had ordered INEC to recognise the Ughelli-South 1 with Constituency Code No. SC/33/DT in the Delta State House of Assembly.

But the people of Agbarho in the fresh suit, are praying the court to set aside the earlier judgment on grounds that “it was obviously obtained by serious misrepresentation of facts.”

Further hearing in the matter, was, yesterday, adjourned till March 9.
