Court fixes March 3 to hear NSC’s suit

By Bartholomew Madukwe

LAGOS—Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Federal High Court, Lagos, has fixed March 3 for hearing of an application by the Nigerian Shippers Council, NSC, asking the court to compel Seaport Terminal Association of Nigeria, STOAN, and the Shipping Association of Nigeria, SAN, to obey the judgment of Court over issues of collection of Shipping Line Agency Charges, SLAC.

NSC, through its counsel, Dr. Olisa Agbakoba SAN, filed the application in reaction to several publications by STOAN and SAN directing the general public to ignore the decision of the Federal High Court in a matter between parties on grounds that they had a pending appeal.
