PATANI—All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate for Delta State in next month’s elections, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, has said that the certificate propaganda of the APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, was a ploy by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to divert the attention of Nigerians from the PDP’s dwindling popularity and rejection.
Emerhor, who addressed party faithful at Patani, Patani Local Government Area of the state, described the PDP as a party that has failed Nigerians in the past 16 years, stressing that the APC will use funds accruing to the state to support Small and Medium Scale businesses.
He assured the people that his administration, if elected, will explore the resources of the area by establishing a fish and agricultural processing company to provide jobs for youths within and around the area.
Also speaking, the APC Delta South senatorial candidate, Prince Yemi Emiko, flanked by other candidates of the area, lamented the non-availability of constituency projects in Patani, stressing that the APC will bring a better alternative if elected.
