Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal; Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State; Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State and the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, are among dignitaries expected at the public presentation of a book in honour of an emeritus Professor of Political Science, John Ayoade, tomorrow.
Other dignitaries also expected at the event scheduled for the conference room of the National Institute of Social and Economic Research, NISER, Ibadan, Oyo State, include Ogun and Osun states governors, Senator Ibikunle Amosun and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, respectively.
Also expected to grace the book launch are: the Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Lawal and the Eleruwa of Eruwa, Oba Samuel Adegbola.
The book, entitled The Legislature and Governance in Nigeria, and edited by Dr. Emmanuel Olugbade Ojo, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Political Science, University of Ilorin and Dr. Shola Omotola of the Redeemers’ University, Ogun State, is in honour of the emeritus professor, who turns 72 on November 12.
A statement issued in Ibadan by Ojo, the Special Adviser to the Governor of Oyo State on Political Matters, named Mr. Yinka Fabowale, the South-West Regional Editor of The Sun newspapers, as the reviewer of the book.
